Competition To Win A HTC Smartphone Worth Over €450
The competition is hosted on Facebook so if you're not already
signed into Facebook, you may need to do so.
For those of you that have (a) incredible willpower, (b) have
already seen the competition page or (c) are far too cool to use
said social media site, read on and we'll divulge some tasty
bits of info.
Ready?
Here at Software4Students we spend a ridonculous* amount of time coming up with
ideas to make Ireland's best student software store
even more awesome.
So we came up with the idea of having a 'Photoshop me!'
competition.
This way we can promote Software4Students and
Adobe at the same
time. Clever, huh?
But that's when we ran into the issue of motivation...

Skill Not Required
One of my favourite online competitions is Kotaku.com's weekly
Photoshop challenge.
It's always funny and gives Xbots (Xbox owners) and the Sony Defence Force
(Playstation owners)
equal opportunity to make fun of each other.
Now, far be it for us to show any lack of faith in the
student population - we know you're capable of photoshopping
with the best of them when you can be bothered getting out of
bed.
However, we wanted to make
competition entry as easy as possible
for everyone.
And when we say easy for everyone, we really do mean
everyone.
The competition therefore goes a little something like this...
Ever wish you had an unflattering image you could just
Photoshop?
Software4Students have teamed up with Adobe to bring you this
fantastic competition.
Simply show us the most cringe worthy photo you can find of
yourself and you could be in with a chance to win a HTC Desire
HD phone.
There you go - no Photoshop skills required! All you have to do
is email us your entry and follow the instructions given on our
Facebook profile.
That'll be the one I linked to at the start of this blog post.

If You're Not In, You Can't Win
Considering how many
photos are uploaded daily to Facebook, I'm sure you won't have
much difficulty finding one where you look a bit silly.
You may have wished that you could Photoshop it but at least now
you can use it to try a
win a great prize.
Speaking of the prize, the
HTC Desire HD is a fancy bit of kit.
Worth over €450, the prize is SIM-free and appears to work with
all of the major mobile networks.

theme of that movie is that sometimes you don't appreciate what
you have until it's gone - so to support this student
