Office Project Professional 2007 can be run as a single-user solution or alternatively, it can be connected to Microsoft Office Project Server 2007, which then enables it to deliver project management capabilities.
Office Project Professional 2007 includes a Client Access License (CAL), which enables connection to Office Project Server 2007.
This CAL also enables the use of Microsoft Office Project Web Access, the thin Web client.
