To use Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac you need:
• A Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (500 MHz or faster) processor
• Mac OS X version 10.4.9 or later
• 512 MB of RAM or more
• 1.5 GB of available hard-disk space
• DVD drive or connection to a local area network (if installing over a network) or higher resolution monitor
• HFS+ hard disk format file format (also known as Mac OS Extended or HFS Plus).

Additional items or services are required to use some features:

Microsoft Exchange Server Requirements
If you will be using Entourage 2008 to access information on Microsoft Exchange Server, the Exchange server that you are connecting to must meet the following requirements:
• Exchange Server 2000 with the latest Service Pack, Exchange Server 2003 with the latest Service Pack, or Exchange Server 2007.
Settings:
• The following protocols must be enabled: HTTP, DAV, and LDAP.
• Outlook Web Access must be installed and active.
